What is Aesthetics?
Aesthetics are injectibles that are primarily in the face. The most common is Botulism Toxin (Botox) which freezes muscle movement.Typically used for creasing between the 'brows, forehead lines and crow's feet. Secondly, filler. Typically used to increase volume in the cheeks and lips, and to help eradicate smaller furrows such as nose to mouth and corners of the mouth. Botox can also treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) in the armpit area.
Profhilo is set of injections into the face which improves the look of fine lines and plumps and smooths the overall facial skin, replacing the collagen and hyaluronic acid that is lost through the aging process.
Vitamin B12 is an injection into the muscle in the back of the arm. B12 deficiency is commonly found in vegetarians and vegans as it is present in meat and dairy. However there is also a condition caused Pernicious Anaemia where stomach acid etc prevents absorption of B12 when meat and dairy are consumed. B12 deficiency is quite common and can cause many ailments including constant fatigue, pins and needles in hands and feet, brain fog and coughing to mention a few.
